An excellent opportunity has arisen with this leading UK based manufacturer of precision engineered components into the Aerospace industry for a Quality Engineer with strong hands on inspection skills.
An excellent opportunity has arisen with this leading UK based manufacturer of precision engineered components into the Aerospace industry for a Quality Engineer with strong hands on inspection skills.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Engineering and Quality Manager you will be responsible for the measurement, test and analysis of products ensuring that they meet the specifications of the customers. You will provide the production area with all relevant quality input as well as providing information to the customer on current manufacturing methods. You will be seen as one of the key players in the engineering function, therefore it is important that you are a strong communicator with a solid engineering background.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have good CMM programming skills, as well as the ability to analyse and report upon your results. It is also important that you have good SPC skills and an understanding of RR specifications and procedures. Ideally you will have precision engineering skills from within the Aerospace industry or similar in order to be able to deal with the demands of the aviation industry.
