Quality Engineer/Senior Quality Engineer
A Long Established Engineering Business, who Design and Manufacture various High End and Quality Electro-mechanical systems for the Aerospace Market, both for the European & American Market are currently witnessing increased orders for their Customers, mainly abroad. Due to this growth they now require a Quality Engineer to join their fledging business.
Their USP is due to their innovative Manufacturing Techniques, Detailed and Bespoke Design Processes and rigorous Quality Protocols including various Test Methods of all prototypes, to ensure that the end Client receives the best product possible within realistic Delivery Dates. This has resulted in their Customers tying them into long term Supply Agreements with many new Customers coming through via Referrals.
You role as a Quality Engineer is to improve defect rates within the manufacturing process and to increase the quality standard of the products that go out to their external customers. You will be involved in implementing and managing a number of internal quality procedures and creating a standardization process which all will adhere to. Your role will also encompass close dealings with Design & Stress.
This is a great opening if you enjoy an autonomous role, to be considered for this post you should display the following profile
Equivalent qualifications to a HND, BSc or B.Eng. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Ideally from an Engineering Manufacturing Background, either in your current or previous role
Experiences as a Quality Engineer
You will be paid a competitive salary in the realm of £30,000 - £40,000, which will depend on your transferable skills. You will also be provided with 5 Weeks holiday, Sick Pay Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, and Contributory Pension Scheme & Subsidised Canteen, not bad?
