A prestigious automotive OEM in Surrey is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team.

Principal Accountabilities

As a Quality Engineer you will be expected identify, analyse and lead the resolution of technical concerns from the prototype phase through to full production.
Liaise between Engineering, Manufacturing and Service functions to insure that information is shared, offering guidance to reduce project risks, maintaining business targets and deliver a high quality, class defining customer focused product.
Supports the Engineering organisation in the development of new products by means of facilitation, coordination and participation of D-FMEA's.
Support detailed product planning to insure that the department's activities are defined and meet the overall project timing and deliverable targets.

Knowledge, skills and experience
Complete vehicle technical experience is essential.
Previous Quality, Manufacturing or Production experience in the automotive industry is required.
Previous experience with FMEA's at a vehicle system level is essential.
Proven experience working in strong team environments as well as solo environments.
Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree 2:1 or above/ or equivalent qualification
