Our client designs, manufactures and markets electronic products, solutions and components for clients in industries including automotive, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, computers and consumer electronics.
Quality Engineers - Electronics, Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, ISO9001:2000, TS16949, AS9100.
The Quality Engineers will support the manufacturing plants in the Wiltshire area.
The Quality Engineers will:
Provide a Quality Support service to the manufacturing facilities.
Provide effective Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions to non conforming products & Processes.
Monitor, review and report key Quality performance indicator metrics.
Provide communication to customers and colleagues regarding quality failures or system requirements.
Progress corrective actions from inception to completion.
Support and progress business quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure quality objectives are achieved.
Support the company's system audits.
Assist in maintenance of the company QMS approvals.
The Quality Engineers will be qualified, ideally to degree level and to a minimum of HNC level, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Quality Assurance. You will have 6-Sigma experience, preferably to Greenbelt standard or above with experience of 8D problem solving. The Quality Engineers will have relevant and suitable experience in a Quality Assurance role gained in an automotive or aerospace environment, with experience of ISO9001:2000, TS16949 or AS9100.
Remuneration
The salary for these roles will be in the range of £27-30k per annum and there will be a benefits package including a generous pension scheme, private healthcare, professional development support and 25 days holiday.
