Position
The Quality Engineer will be involved in all maintenance of ISO9001 certification conducting internal audits and system reviews in accordance with an agreed programme to verify compliance with procedures and identify improvements. The Quality Engineer will have experience of creating and maintaining key platform delivery team documents and providing regular communication, input advise and coaching of the Delivery team personnel to achieve a common understanding of Quality Management Plans. The Quality Engineer will evaluate quality reports and recommend corrective, preventative and improvement actions. The Quality Engineer will liaise at meetings and interface with and supporting external audits. The Quality Engineer will have working knowledge of ISO9001 and DEFSTAN and DEFCON relating to product quality. The Quality Engineer will have previous experience of working in large programmes and multidisciplinary project teams.
The Quality Engineer will have Auditing skills plus excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to finish tasks that have been started. The Quality Engineer will also be robust, challenging and persistent
The Quality Engineer will have demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining ISO 9001 compliant management systems, Auditing to ISO 9001 processes and the implementation of corrective, preventive and improvement actions. The Quality Engineer will have experience of product quality management of sub systems and major systems through design, manufacture and acceptance
