Quality Engineer required in South Wales to work for a large UK defence organisation who provide communications solutions for Land, Air and Sea platforms.
Quality Engineer required in South Wales to work for a large UK defence organisation who provide communications solutions for Land, Air and Sea platforms. This role involves taking responsibility for monitoring, analysing and improving all aspects of Operational Quality Assurance with particular attention to programme adherence. You will generate Programme Quality Plans, perform programme audits, represent the company at Customer/Supplier meetings, and support bid activity by preparing draft quality plans. To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will ideally be HNC/Degree qualified in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with substantial experience as a Quality Engineer. Your experience should include Lead Assessor qualification, software knowledge in relation to CMMI and TickIT environments and excellent knowledge of ISO9001:2000. Working level knowledge of Defence/Military standards would also be highly desirable. Successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.
