Description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen with a world leader in the railway signalling and technology sector. The company is responsible for all aspects of railway control and signaling products and systems, right through from research and design to manufacture and installation, covering the mainline and mass transit railways throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East.

The company is responsible for all aspects of railway control and signaling products and systems, right through from research and design to manufacture and installation, covering the mainline and mass transit railways throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East.
This position is looking for a proactive individual to be responsible for monitoring of all quality assurance activities, and conducting and delivering the audit trail for the production element of the works. Due to the nature of the work you will need to have a background within manufacturing, automotive or production sectors.
You will be required to provide suggestions to improve the current standards that are in place, and then maintain the systems moving forward to the ISO 9001 standards required.
A strong communicator and experienced auditor are vital requirements to be able to successfully perform this challenging role in a professional manner. Due to the large element of auditing to be carried out it would be preferable that you hold a Lead Auditing accreditation although not essential.
