An immediate requirement has arisen for a Quality Advisor to work within their Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental team. You will be working closely with the senior managers, and will need to be professional in your approach to work as well as being able to demonstrate leadership qualities when working alone.
The role will include assisting in the co-ordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the company management systems, plus assisting the Senior Environmental & Quality Manager in monitoring and facilitating company compliance to QMS and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. You will have proven experience of inducting new and existing employees into the QMS, co-ordinate and complete internal quality inspections and audits, and generally promote a positive culture and buy-in towards company and project QA management.
You will need to have proven experience of working on construction projects in a quality capacity, demonstrating excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and auditing experience. The opportunity will need you to be a good team player and capable communicator to work with colleagues and clients alike.
You will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, and a qualified lead Auditor with good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills, plus knowledge of web-based applications.
Please note that although the role is Herts/ North Essex based it may involve frequent UK travel (around the Midlands, Yorks and NW) and staying away overnight.
