Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading UK manufacturing operation for a Quality Engineer to joins it Coventry based operation. With over 200 people based on site our client has been leading the development of its engineering products for the past 100 years, and is looking to grow its manufacturing base further over the next 5 years.
THE ROLE
As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the day to day upkeep of all of the quality tasks within your specific area. You will need to maintain all of the processes to ensure they adhere to the quality management system, as well constantly reviewing all processes. You will be in contact with both customers and suppliers, as well as working as a hands on Quality engineer looking at Gauge and equipment calibration as well as initial sample inspection and material approvals.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to be a solid Quality engineer with the ability work on the shop floor as well as deal with customer concerns and issues. You will need to have strong basic quality skills as well as the ability to look at both product quality and process improvements. This role will suit a good quality person who is looking to work for a professional, secure manufacturing business.

Engineering/Manufacturing experience
Good hands on quality skills
ISO9000 awareness or similar
