Claims Consultant Role Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with an interest in Claims and dispute resolution or an experienced claim consultant to work on a variety of Claims and dispute resolution cases for a World renowned Construction Consultancy.
Claims Consultant The Ideal Candidate
You would need significant experience on the preparation of complex claims
Or have a background in Quantity Surveying with a passion for claims.
A working knowledge of the adjudication process is essential
Good all round knowledge of Construction Law
Good knowledge of a variety of contracts e.g. JCT, NEC, PPC etc
Candidates with a Relevant Construction Degree, MSc Construction Law / LLB and or MCIArb Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators will be at an obvious advantage.
Claims Consultant Responsibilities
Preparation of defence claims for extension of Time, Loss and Expense & disruption.
Offer advice on procurement routes, contract choice & dispute resolution procedures
