Our client is the leading provider of convergent media solutions, with software widely adopted by broadcasters, operators, and device manufacturers around the world in more than 106 million digital set-top boxes and televisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing QA Engineers, QA Leads, and Test personnel including contractors.
- Ability to perform most QA related functions and fill in where needed as contingency.
- Interface with Development Engineers and Project Management and customers to help create high quality products
Skills Required:
- Proven expertise in Software QA and QA Management role
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Technical lead and /or line manager in Software development environment
- Minimum of 4 years as a QA or SQA Engineer
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and work well under pressure
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience in the software development lifecycle and be familiar with bug tracking/CRM tools
