The company is now applying this new technology into strategic markets, namely electric/hybrid vehicles. The company has a multi-disciplined engineering team.
Reports to: Manufacturing Director
Role: Manage the supply base, ensuring continuity of material supply

•Automotive (OEM or Tier 1)
•Greenfield organisation
•Manufacturing start-up (prototype to volume)
•Introduction of new MRP/ERP system
•Supplier selection & relationship building
•Negotiation (prototype, tooling & volume supply)
•Supply contracts
•Low cost country
•Global logistics (supply & delivery)
•Continuous improvement
•Problem solving
•Man-management (motivation, appraisal, etc.)
Qualifications:
•Possibly CIPS or equivalent
•Engineering associated degree
The Purchasing and Logistic Manager is based in Hampshire, but any candidate willing to relocate will be considered.
This is a superb opportunity for a Purchasing and Logistic Manager who wants to be challenged and use his/her skills and experience in a dynamic, successful and worldwide known company.
As a compensation, the Purchasing and Logistic Manager will be paid a competitive salary up to £60,000 (flexible) and will be provided with exceptional benefits.
