Working with OEMs, management contracting companies and fabrication yards, they are a dynamic company with an excellent reputation with clients. An opportunity has now arisen for a Proposals Engineer / Estimator to join their team.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, as a Proposals Engineer / Estimator you will be responsible for the development, preparation and timely submission of winning tenders to customers.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing estimates for all applicable aspects of a project
- Liaising with clients throughout the review period
- Preparing contract review sheets and conducting handovers
- Archiving all unsuccessful bids and declined
- Ensuring all enquiries are logged, progressed and submitted
To succeed as a Proposals Engineer / Estimator you must have practical experience of preparing tenders for specialist steel products, and the ability to read engineering drawings. You must also have a HND or BTEC in Engineering or be educated to A level standard (or equivalent).
Additionally, for this role you must have good communication skills, and a good working knowledge of Excel, and ideally Word.
