Proposals Engineer - Surrey - water and wastewater treatment industry
Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the preparation of technical and commercial tenders for Process and M & E works preferably within the UK municipal water and wastewater treatment industry.
Minimum qualification - HNC (or equivalent) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Candidates must be computer literate and familiar with all MS Office applications (some experience with AutoCAD or MS Visio would be an advantage). Working knowledge of the standard IChemE and NEC conditions of contract and subcontract would be an advantage.
Duties
Preparation of technical and commercial tenders for Process and M & E works for water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsible to the Proposals Director for all aspects of the tender preparation from the receipt of client tender documentation to the final internal tender review and submission. Duties will include some or all of the following:
Specialist assistance with the process and electrical, ICA and commercial aspects will be available within the team environment.
