Projects Engineer
Test Consultancy currently seeks a Projects Engineer with an environmental test background (preferably in Aerospace, Defence or Automotive industries). As a Projects Engineer the ideal candidate will be comfortable in performing the role of a commercial engineer liaising with the customer and the in-house engineering team to deliver potential project opportunities through to successful business wins. Projects may take the form of a single environmental test such as vibration, shock or temperature, but will also include full qualification programmes for Military, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial, Marine and Rail customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the customer requirements and to provide a commercial response on behalf of the company. Hosting customer meetings and follow up activities with a view to meeting the monthly order target for the company is also a requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
-To produce quotations in line with customer requirements using the in-house commercial software tools.
-To further liaise with customers to produce revised quotations based upon commercial negotiation or change in project specification.
-To host customer visits and meetings to promote the Company and its sister companies within the Group and to ensure that the customer objectives are understood to enable a quotation to be produced.
-To ensure the monthly target number & value of quotations issued are achieved
