An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Project / Proposal Engineer for a world leading Offshore Oil and Gas Contractor based in the South of France.

This role would ideally suit someone with short or medium-term experience gained in the oil and gas business, preferably a good level graduate with 3 to 5 years in the industry. The ideal candidate would also have gained some good exposure in either Project Management or Proposals, or both..

This is an opportunity with real potential for career progression and requires a tenacious, business minded individual.

Responsibilities:
-The right candidate will be required to produce Technical and Commercial proposals for new Oil and Gas operations contracts, with special focus on LNG offshore operations proposals.
-You will also be involved in the development of the projects.
-Financial Cost estimating for budget submissions, for all offshore operations proposals.
-Development of schemes and solutions for potential new offshore projects in support of the company corporate strategy.
-Development of financial budgets for both Operations Readiness and Operations offshore projects.
-Conduct in-country operational assessments for the development of new projects.
-Be actively involved in commercial and technical documentation review and contract negotiating with the Client pre and post contract award.
-Assistance in the preparation of narratives and budgets for new offshore gas and oil project proposals.
-To be the nominated point of contact for division during Project Proposals until formal handover to the Start-Up Team.

Requirements:
-Degree or equivalent in engineering and/ or marine discipline.
-Solid experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, in proposals, operations, or engineering.

Salary:- Negotiable dependant on experience.
