Description
Based in Rickmansworth, our CCTV programme involves camera surveying the sewer network through our contract partners. The data collected drives our sewer rehabilitation work across the region. This role involves the day-to day site management of up to 30 CCTV rigs and associated cleaning, traffic management and enabling activities, delivering in excess of 1600km/annum.
Directly influence, through pro-active management of contractor performance and identification of process and specification improvements, the successful delivery of the AMP4 (and beyond) Sewer Rehabilitation Programme OFWAT targets.
The role will involve:
•We require a clerk of works to monitor/manage the CCTV contractors
•Provide a single point of contact for day-to day site queries (customers, contractors and operations)
•Validate invoices against daily whereabouts and site records
•Manage health and safety and contractor compliance through regular audits and provision of information for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
•Represent project team at KPI meetings
•Co-ordinate traffic management and site enabling with contractors
•Represent project team in site implementation of new initiatives (e.g Section 24/catchment studies)
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
•Preferably experience of CCTV surveying or similar operational background.
•Preferably NRSWA qualified and relevant accredited H&S training such as IOSH Managing Safety Certificate, or a one day CITB Safety Awareness Training.
•Able demonstrate good communication skills and experience of delivering results and achieving performance through others.
