The role is a full time site supervisory role based on a new build in-site concrete service reservoir nr Whitney, Oxfordshire.
We require an Inspector/Clerk of Works to monitor the contractor and ensure:
Progress records and recording approval of daily plant, labour and material sheets compliance to overall construction programme.
Pre-emptive inputs to ensure minimal delays.
Operational liaison to ensure existing assets protected.
Quality of checking of works and in particular reinforcement, concrete pours.
The applicant should be able to demonstrate that they are competent in the construction environment and this should be supported by accredited Health & Safety training such as IOSH Managing Safely Certificate, or a one day CITB Safety Awareness Training and/or hold a CSCS card.
The applicants will need to have proven relevant experience working in the construction industry and preferably working on reinforced concrete structures.
