A Project Studies Manager is now required at this small but growing company in Bristol. They are recognized as the world leader in PRT development and are currently engaged in a series of studies to examine the effectiveness of their particular PRT system as a critical element of an integrated transport solution in a variety of applications. The role of the Project Studies Manager will be to lead this work and to take responsibility for the delivery of the study results to the client.
The Project Studies Manager will require demonstrated capability in transport modelling, and experience in related work with a consultant or local authority. The person appointed will be the principal source of transport expertise within the company. They will need the flexibility and confidence to become a key member of an interdisciplinary team which aspires to change the nature of public transport.
The policy of the company is to work with specialist companies wherever possible. Part of the studies work will be sub-contracted to specialist consulting companies. One task of the Project Studies Manager is management / liaison with such companies to ensure that their recommendations take full advantage of the new opportunities offered by their PRT system. Some of the work may require being based overseas.
