Salary and Location:
Up to £20.12 per hour ltd, £17.84 PAYE (pro-rata £29-32k p/a), Northumberland - commutable from Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields, Durham, Ashington, Cramlington, Hexham, etc.
Role Description:
Review and understand all relevant contract information on a project.
Development of project-specific Quality Plans.
Co-ordinate all quality engineering issues on the project.
Perform, where appropriate, control and co-ordinate supplier quality control inspections and tests (visiting client's sites both in local area, UK and abroad).
Control corrective actions on the project as a result of any non-conformance raised.
Monitor progress of project activities from a quality and time schedule point of view.
Act as the quality representative on the project with suppliers and customers.
Ensure timely completeness of all quality deliverables on the project, including quality records.
Required Experience:
Fabrication or mechanical engineering background gained in the medium to heavy engineering industries, QA experience, experienced in project quality planning.
