GAS & STEAM TURBINES FOR POWER GENERATION

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Planner to join the Power division of one of the world leaders in transport and energy infrastructure.
The Power Division, based in the beautiful town of Baden, Switzerland, is a large and well-established company specialising in electricity generation equipment and services. Through the development of advanced public transport and cleaner electric power production, they are helping to address some of the key issues that face the planet today.
As Project Planner, you will work closely with a global team to establish the baseline schedule for international gas turbine power plant construction projects. In particular you will schedule and report projects with respect to the delivery of gas turbines, steam turbines and generators including mechanical and electrical auxiliaries. You will follow project progress closely and support engineering and procurement in solving potential problems to help avoid delays. You will also assist in the development of metrics and a reporting system that keeps both the global team and the customers well informed.
A degree qualified engineer with a planning and scheduling background, you will have proven expertise in scheduling tools and methods, e.g. earned value-based scheduling, resource/quantity loading, SPI, CPI, critical path method. Familiarity with enterprise planning software and databases, e.g. Access, Excel, Crystal Reports; experience with Business Objects would be an advantage.
German language classes will be on offer at an onsite language school and a willingness to learn is essential.
