Project Mechanical Engineer - Surrey
This role will attract someone who will enjoy a challenge, providing Project Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis to ensure the successful implementation of multiple projects to meet demanding schedule requirements whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.
Provide Project Engineering for multiple projects from tendering for work through to front end and detail design phases, procurement, expediting, internal and external liaison, scheduling, reporting, and final implementation of projects maintaining the highest quality and schedule requirements.
Provide mechanical discipline function for project phases such as detail design, technical bid clarifications, and fabrication monitoring.
Provide ability to promote growth areas and business development by initiating / contributing to development and diversification programs.
Provide competent resource for CAD packages such as AutoCad and Solidworks as a back up function to the design department.
Qualifications/experience
Persons applying for the post should have the following:
A recognised Mechanical Engineering degree (1st hns) with three / fours years relevant experience. A second qualification in a commercial field would be beneficial.
Experience in project engineering applications with a record of successful results.
Technical experience in a wide range of mechanical engineering functions.
