The roles and responsibilities of the Project Engineer are as follows:
Project manage the new Product Development Current Model Quality Improvement meeting governance and incorporate changes from Global initiatives. Liaise with Vehicle Line and Functional Teams to deliver an effective Current Model Quality Process and manage the regular supporting meeting structure. Develop recommendations for current model process / governance improvements and establish common meeting documentation. Skills Required:
Project management, strong organisation and interpersonal skills with attention to detail, ability to maintain schedules and resolve conflicts
High level of enthusiasm and energy to maintain momentum within a diverse team of engineers spread throughout Europe. The candidate should also be prepared for a limited amount of travel within Europe. PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PDF995. Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of G8D or similar concern resolution process
Ability to use eRoom / Team Connect sites Ability to use appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g. FMEA, DFA, etc. Experience Required:
Project Management & Automotive Experience
Problem solving experience, excellent communication and presentation skills dedicated Team player. Education Required:
Ideally educated to Degree level
