The Company is now seeking to recruit a first line project manager to be responsible for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) function for a prime project, reporting to both prime project management and the AIT Programmes manager. AIT activities are performed in clean rooms across the world.

The Company is now seeking to recruit a first line project manager to be responsible for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) function for a prime project, reporting to both prime project management and the AIT Programmes manager. AIT activities are performed in clean rooms across the world.

Duties will include;
Integrated Project Management to ensure that quality, effort, cost, schedule, resources, facilities, risks, issues, requirements & change control, through unit and system integration test to validation, verification and delivery are tied to and described and maintained in the business case and project plan.
Autonomously managing the AIT element of a prime project from the early bid, requirements analysis and definition phases through development for preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews, then onto the implementation phases of integration test, environmental test and launch campaigns.

Essential
As a minimum the successful candidate shall have:
An HNC in an engineering discipline.
Ability to comprehend and address the broader picture; identify potential problems and resolve/minimise them by setting clear objectives.
Successful management and delivery of projects predictably.
Proven Leadership role with proven competencies in;

Establishing an environment that encourages co-operation, collaboration, debate and communication between all stakeholders through openness and transparency.
Develop strong relationships with the customers and subcontractors to ensure that they are meeting their commitments to your project.
Driving towards integration of functionality.
