Description
Project Manager (Naval) - is required for this dynamic defence consultancy based in a spectacular rural location within commutable distance to Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Frome, Trowbridge etc.
You will be leading projects & bids, taking responsibility for timely delivery of outputs within defined budgets. Provision of project management support to medium sized marine projects & bids. Provision of commercial and technical risk management support. Customer interfacing at all levels.
You will be degree qualified or equivalent defence engineering experience. Excellent personal organisation and prioritisation ability. The ability to build, lead and motivate bid teams. Current knowledge of the MoD Acquisition Operating Framework and AMS and related procurement procedures. Ability to communicate with DE&S, DEC and related organisations at all levels. This includes both verbal, written & presentations. Ability to establish a good working relationship with customers so as to be able to understand needs and deliver solutions.
Ability to work with minimum supervision, show initiative and deliver high quality outputs. General knowledge of current defence equipment programmes would be desirable. PRINCE 2 and/or Shipley training would be preferable. The ability to think innovatively and propose novel solutions to problems posed.

For this role you must have a valid current Passport and be eligible for a UK Security clearance at least to Security Check level. Be able to drive and have a current driving licence.
