The water industry represents a substantial part of their business. Services and turnkey systems are supplied from water and sewage treatment installations through to reservoir monitoring and booster stations controls, due to continued expansion, they need to recruit a Project Manager (Process Control).

Project Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a number of projects being/ to be conducted with existing clients. These projects will involve close and co-operative working with the client, taking requirements expressed at high level and developing them into well defined designs with associated work scopes, whose implementation will require to be managed effectively. Some of the work scope will be realised through sub-contractors, who will be managed by the Project Manager.
It is essential that you have experience in managing a team, have had commercial interaction with customers and knowledge of ISO9001 principles and practices. It is also essential that you have awareness of process engineering issues, as they affect process control and automation.
PLC based control systems is deemed to include:
•PLC hardware, including network and serial communications, PLC component selection and design
•PLC software, including interfacing to other computer systems, typically PC based SCADA
•Cabinet / enclosures (design of layout and internal wiring)
In return my client offers a basic salary ranging from £35,000 to £50,000, group company bonus scheme, contributory pension, life assurance and 32 holidays per annum.
