PILING/GEOTECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGERS NEEDED IN SYDNEY AND BRISBANE FOR A WORLD RENOWNED SPECIALIST CONTRACTOR

They are seeking project managers experienced in geotechnical and/or piling civil works.

LOCATIONS:
SYDNEY:
Set on one of the worlds most stunning harbours, which extends either side in a golden chain of easy-to-reach, inner-city beaches including bondi beach, arguably the most celebrated beach in Australia.
Sydneys laid-back outdoor lifestyle and physical allure make it one of the worlds easiest and most pleasant cities to visit. The people who live here are friendly, energetic with a direct approach to life.

BRISBANE:
Brisbane enjoy a wide range of landscapes and lifestyles. The inner-city, metropolitan Brisbane is surrounded by leafy, sometimes very hilly, suburbs. Further out in the suburbs, the traditional Australian house on a large block or even acreage dominates.
Moreton Bay and its islands provide water sports, sailing and sea-side suburbs. The Pacific Highway leads south to the Gold Coast and its well-known surf beaches.

PROJECTS:
Due to the recent boom in civil and infrastructure work (10% growth anticipated in 2009), there is going to be an increasing number of varied geotechnical/piling projects occurring in Sydney and Brisbane.

ROLE:
Already a successful project manager in the civil/geo technical construction industry, you will report directly to the Operations Manager. You will manage major civil projects through the full construction lifecycle, duties will include, but are not limited to;

REQUIREMENTS
•A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
•A civil engineering or geotechnical qualification.
•Piling and/or Geotechnical experience, projects of between £1 and £12 million sterling.
There is also an opportunity for two site engineers with less experience to be involved with this projects, however only those with an excellent academic background and relevant work experience over the past two years will be considered.

REMUNERATION
Extremely lucrative packages on offer including;
A base salary of A$80 -A$100,000 plus an extremely lucrative productivity bonus.
