Description
Large International Consultancy require a Project Manager to look after a $400 million retail development in Kuwait.
Project Manager on a $400m retail mall in Kuwait.
Job responsibilities:
The successful candidate will reside in Kuwait for approximately 2-3 years and will initially act as a Design Manager coordinating the services of the consultant prior to appointment of the Contractor. Once the Contractor is appointed they will act as the Contract Administrator/Project Manager on the site overseeing the work of the International Design/Build Contractor.
Person Specification:
Professionally qualified within a construction discipline
Clear understanding of the design and construction process with appropriate experience in the coordination of the different disciplines involved in the design of construction projects.
Strong client facing skills
Effective communicator with a first class modern and sympathetic management style
Manager and motivator of people
An ability to know when and how to add value to the project and think beyond their own discipline
Has previous contract administration experience
Experience of or looking to work as a project manager or project leader on multi-discipline projects.
