Our client, a market leader in the supply of specialised components to the aerospace industry, is looking for an experienced manager to join the team on a contract basis.

Our client, a market leader in the supply of specialised components to the aerospace industry, is looking for an experienced manager to join the team on a contract basis.
You will manage projects, normally in an NPI environment, utilising a hands on approach to ensure that targets are met, able to manage multi-disciplinary teams of people, both internal and external to the business.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required for this demanding and challenging position.
Role and Responsibilities
"Managing several major NPI and business projects
"Preparation and presentation of reports to the company executive board
"Preparation and presentation of reports to the Customer
"Organising and facilitating project meetings
"Collating, tracking and measuring financial performance
"Preparing budgets
"Responsible for identifying, planning and managing risks
"Producing, tracking and monitoring complex timing plans using micro-soft projects
"Liaising with Customers and providing regular updates
Experience/qualifications required
Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Degree
Engineer with project management experience
5 years technical and problem solving experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Previous experience of NPI, or cradle to grave project control
Aerospace or very closely related industry
Previous experience of preparing budgets, tracking and measuring performance
10 years technical and problem solving experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Programme management experience in a tiering relationship
