Description
Project Manager
Our client specialises in providing solutions for handling and processing powders, granules, tablets and other materials in specialist containers. They have the capability to provide total solutions, from single component level through to complete turnkey powder handling solutions; from concept development, testing and design through to manufacture, installation and training.
Our client are a truly international company with own offices in USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Netherlands and France. In addition they have a worldwide network of agents. This enables them to provide close customer support and service wherever their customers are in the world.
They have a requirement for a Project Manager to join their team based in the North of Gloucestershire. The post holder will be required to be the face of the company when dealing with external clients and therefore exceptional communication skills are needed.
General
•As a key member of the Operations team, assist with the planning and management of new and ongoing projects
•Ensure the projects are completed on time, and achieve the quoted margin
•Assist where necessary in the development of the systems and new business opportunities
Main Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring projects are adequately reviewed, and executed to ensure all programme objectives are achieved. This will require:
•Ensuring that all specifications both generated internally and received are thoroughly vetted
•Organising and managing existing resources for the efficient, profitable, technically sound and timely project-management of orders won by the company
•Managing of the Companys projects to achieve or improve upon the quoted Gross Margin
•Develop and execute projects in line with Quality Management System
•Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date and accurate contract files
•Provide documentation that verifies compliance with customer, company, legislative and best practice requirements
•Feedback on current costs and project performance to help with future estimating
Skills / Experience
•Positive and friendly attitude is essential as customer retention and business development will form the major part of the role.
•A background in the process industries (food, pharmaceutical , chemical, plastics) would be beneficial but not essential
•Commercially and Technically aware
•Experience with customer relationship development
A salary of up to £35000 is available for the right applicant, with a company pension scheme and 25 days holidays a year plus private health care to work days Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
