A leading company providing mechanical engineering services in the building construction industry is seeking an experienced:
Project Manager
Working with clients and architects from schematic design through construction inspections and post-project services, you will work on construction projects systems, including designs for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and direct digital controls.
Serving as the company's representative for the projects, you will interface with equipment suppliers and contractors; assign jobs to project engineers, designers, CAD staff, and clerical team members; and coordinate with outside consultants on mechanical requirements, including motor lists, structural openings, and weights.
In addition to directly-related experience, you should bring knowledge of industry standards and practices regarding building systems' design and installation, familiarity with national, provincial and municipal codes and bylaws, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
