Description
Our large Defence Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with the below experience - Summary: Within FJES (Fast Jet Evaluation Services
Division witin Qinetiq), customer focus is provided by dedicated platform project managers who manage all the business for their aircraft type and/or type. FJES is functionally organised with project management as part of the delivery axis reporting to their respective Programme Group Leaders. Key Accountabilities: Planning and implementation in line with the project lifecycle Understanding of our customers objectives and constraints Understanding and management of project risks and issues Budget control Change control, including contract amendment Project status review and reporting by exception Action contracting and amendment requests ensuring satisfactory and expeditious completion (through the commercial department) Preparation, configuration control, review and authorisation of project documentation in accordance with extant procedures Forecast resource requirements and, in conjunction with Capability Leaders, ensure that staff tasked to carry out work are competent Ensure all furnished equipments and documents are controlled in accordance with the relevant extant procedure Exercise effective leadership and management over project team members as required Appropriate to the project, the PM will act as principal point of contact for all activity internally and externally Develop future business where appropriate - monitor, analyze and act upon intelligence in real-time and promote brand loyalty and partnership with customers. Any successful candidates will need to undergo a form of security clearance!!!
