One of the leading groups of specialist businesses who design, manufacture and support electronic and electromechanical systems, sub-systems and products for defence, security and aerospace applications worldwide, have requirements for Project Managers. This organisation employs 3,000 people in the UK and North America and focuses on high integrity sensing, control, communication and display systems with an emphasis on integrated Information Technology solutions.
The Group concentrates on obtaining a technological edge in niche markets, with many of its products and technologies being market leaders in their field. They are a world-leading aerospace and defence electronics company providing specialist products to customers across the globe. The equivalent of twenty per cent of Group turnover is expended in research and development activities to develop advanced technology solutions to customers' problems. They strive to maintain strategic supplier' status with their customers by providing best value for money' solutions.
Within their rail and also defence power solutions divisions, they have immediate requirements for Project Managers. You already have either a rail electrical background, or experience in the defence industry. You have previously worked on site and are able to handle budgets. There will be elements of construction design management as well as health and safety aspects to be aware of. As an individual you are able to liaise with a variety of people, thrive on challenge and are pro-active in your approach.
In return for your skill and experience, you will be rewarded with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, plus a benefits package set to increase pending an imminent review.
