Description
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Manage project from contract award through to completion
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide single point of contact and single point of responsibility to both the customer and divisional project manager for any aspect associated with the project under their control
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES / HARD SKILLSKEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Contract negotiation
Supplier negotiation and control
Project life cycle management
Resource planning
Customer and supplier liaison
Commercial responsibility for compliance with contract terms and conditions
Project design and engineering understanding Proactive and consistent approach to documentation
Financial responsibility for contract performance, reporting and invoicing
To build a harmonious working project team
Detailed reporting to customer and divisional project manager
Jobcard completion and control
Interface between other divisions and departments
On time project delivery
Work Experience / Technical Skills / Sub-systems
RequiredAbility to work autonomously 3 years experience of managing major new projects
Sound technical and commercial telecoms knowledge
Excellent IT and communication skills preferred
Detailed technical knowledge of multiple communication systems
Experience within the divisional marketplace
Preferred Educational Qualifications / Training Record
Degree qualified in relevant discipline
