Vestas-Celtic Wind Technology Limited is the world leader in renewable power, based on wind technology, and a driving force in the development of the dynamic wind power industry. Vestas core business is the manufacture, installation and maintenance of wind power systems to generate electricity.
The Job:
•Reporting to the Projects Director, you will lead the delivery of Wind Farm Projects ranging in value from £2m - £500m through to completion to time and budget.
•Act as the focal point of the project delivery team, by providing first class leadership through systematic and structured working principles but essentially with a can do attitude.
•Provide a professional service to customers and sub-contractors, acting as a true ambassador of Vestas.
•Be an active participative member of the Projects Group, driving new standards of excellence across the division.
The Person will be:
•Of graduate calibre within an Engineering based discipline.
•A Project Management Professional with proven success in delivery - showing keen commercial awareness and project accounting skills.
•A natural leader and have excellent communication skills and an ability to forge a team ethic.
•Detail orientated with a strong analytical sense and the capability to solve complex issues.
