we currently have a number of positions for Project Manager's to join our offices in East Kilbride and Edinburgh working on projects across a range of market sector's including power, defence, rail, water and marine. As the successful candidate you will be required to deliver to cost, schedule and quality while fostering and managing all internal and external Stakeholders. In addition you will be operating in a matrix organisation leading a multi-functional team.
You will be an accomplished Project Manager with a thorough understanding of cost, schedule, procurement and resource management. In addition you will have experience of using industry standard project management tools and procedures in the performance of your duties.
To be successful in this role you will have experience within a major project environment delivering best practice project management techniques. You will have proven success in delivering and controlling projects in defence, aerospace or marine environments.
Having excellent communication and reporting skills you will be required to clearly translate information to clients and other stakeholders to ensure project success through transparency, traceability and auditability.
In addition you will comply with appropriate legislation including requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. You will pro-actively promote safe working practices through risk assessment methodologies.
You will have previously created and maintained project schedules, implemented risk management techniques and metrics to drive performance.
You will have experience of cost control and be able to demonstrate strong governance in this area.
In addition to the skills above you will be degree qualified (or equivalent), be IT literate in the use of the Microsoft Tools and have a good working knowledge of Project Management and Planning tools such as Primavera, Artemis or Microsoft Project.
We are looking to appoint a number of staff, from post graduate to senior level into the same work environments.
