Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading manufacturer of products into the engineering and manufacturing marketplaces for a Project Manager to handle and manage all New Product Introduction (NPD), to be based at its Midlands facility which is located on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be given complete responsibility for all of the engineering projects and the engineering team. It will be your role to ensure that all development projects are been managed through design and into production efficiently. This will include working with and looking after design and production people on specific projects.
THE CANDIDATE
Ideally you will have a good understanding of medium/high volume, low cost product manufacture, as well as a good feel for New Product Development projects. It is therefore vital that you have the ability to lead small project teams as well as be focused on the commercial side of the business. This position will suit a strong character who is looking for the opportunity to progress and develop their technical skills.
