Project Manager

Description

Project Manager - Reporting to the Business Manager, Heavy Aircraft & Commodities Business Stream where you will be responsible for the delivery of projects as assigned.

The role will be based in Wiltshire and is commutable from Devizes, Salisbury, Andover and Warminster.

Key Accountabilities
Preparation of bids against customer requirements. Liaise with the Resource Manager to ensure that resources are planned to meet the project requirements. Production of Statements of Requirement, Management Plans, Risk Register and other project documentation in accordance with customer requirements. Customer focus, responsible for liaison with the customer to ensure that their programmes are on target and that the customer is kept aware of progress. Reporting, planning and tracking the progress of the project against the project schedulre plan and project expenditure. Use corporate systems (Siebel, PRS) to set up projects and subsequently forecast and monitor the programmatic and financial aspects of same. Ensuring that the deliverables specified in the project proposal are met to time quality and cost. Ensuring invoices are raised promptly upon milestone completion. Produce a closure report on completion of the project. Preparation of project data for monthly reviews, and presentation of that information.

Professional Capabilities/Experience
Preferably APM qualified. Sound knowledge of Project Planning tools such as Project 98 or PRINCE.Previous Project Management experience, ideally in the Aerospace industry. Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications). Proven managerial/negotiating skills.

Educational Requirements
Minimum HNC (or equivalent experience).
