Project Manager is required for this international supplier to the aerospace (civil & defence) and military vehicle markets. A new vacancy, to co-ordinate activities on a number of contracts as well as providing technical input to the development of the projects from concept, to unit production build, and operational acceptance.

Project Manager is required for this international supplier to the aerospace (civil & defence) and military vehicle markets. A new vacancy, to co-ordinate activities on a number of contracts as well as providing technical input to the development of the projects from concept, to unit production build, and operational acceptance.
You will have a varied broad technical background covering systems / software/ electronics / mechanical engineering experience with ideally some Project Management exposure. Team leader / project management experience with a small technical team and proficient with MSProject or equivalent. Exposure to project management methodologies such as PRINCE with excellent communication skills and commercial awareness would be advantageous. Well organised, robust, self motivated team player. You will be Degree qualified in an appropriate technical discipline.
Primary duties & responsibilities include; the management of projects to time and cost. Co-ordination of the team and resources assigned to the projects. Provision of management information reporting on progress both internally and externally. Development of close, long term customer relationships. Development of appropriate recovery plans to achieve milestones. Leading bid preparation activities as required. Assisting the team to develop creative solutions to technical problems.
