Description
Project Manager required to manage a new building project within the Kent area. Your responsibilities will include complete project supervision from contract award, you will lead and motivate the project team to deliver the project, within programme and budget
Position: Project Manager
Package: £65-70k basic + car allowance + fares/travel costs + full benefits
Company: Well known UK Construction Company with an operating business focused upon the South East region. The organisation has a high proportion of D&B and negotiated projects, ranging in value from £5m to £40m, across most well known building sectors, with newly secured projects.
Role: Project Manager required to manage a new building project within the Kent area. Your responsibilities will include complete project supervision from contract award, you will lead and motivate the project team to deliver the project, within programme and budget, whilst ensuring that quality, health & safety procedures are adhered to, additionally you will liaise with clients and their consultants to ensure the project runs smoothly and develop an on-site client focused approach.
Requirements: Experience required upon projects of £8m+, you should have a track record of successfully managing building project based on site; for the long term you should be happy working on either new build or refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will need to have leadership qualities and previous experience of dealing with Client and Design teams, management of the supply chain and good health & safety knowledge.
