Project Leader required by this leading defence organisation based in Cumbria. As a member of the SMITE Electrical / Instrumentation section you will be responsible for the Administration and Technical Control of Electrical / Instrumentation Commissioning Engineers at various levels. MOD security clearance criteria applies to this position.
Educated to HND / HNC in an Electrical / Instrumentation discipline.
Areas covered include:
Operation and Maintenance of the SMITE Facility. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class MPMPs and Other Major Modules. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class Auxiliary Machinery. Provision of Specialist Instrumentation Measurement Services to support the Submarine Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for one / or more of the above areas.
The Project Leader will deputise when appropriate for the SMITE Electrical & Instrumentation Manager.
The role will involve working shifts.
