Opportunities exist for Engineers of all disciplines to join a team responsible for the implementation of carbon management programs, utility conservation, energy efficiency and renewable technologies projects for a wide range of Clients. The roles also include design and project management of the installation of energy, renewable and environmental related plant and equipment. Candidates with experience of recent legislative drivers such as Renewables Obligation, Climate Change Levy, Energy Performance in Buildings Directive or with Carbon Trust accreditation are most welcome.
The successful candidates should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, ideally with experience in a responsible position with involvement within one of the areas described above. You should possess the ability to think laterally to find technically sound, innovative and practical solutions to often-difficult issues. The ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels within Client companies is vital, as is the requirement to express ideas accurately and in a persuasive manner through written and verbal communication. Relevant academic training in any discipline is preferred and for more senior roles qualifications leading to Chartered status in an Engineering discipline is encouraged.
