Project Engineer
A Project Engineer is required with a good machine special purpose background. You will work with the project through from order placement to dispatch. You will have excellent inter personal skills as you will be dealing with customers face to face. You will have a good Mechanical Engineering background and will have worked with bespoke designs for customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team to control and manage the bespoke project.
Work with the Sales, Design and Purchasing Offices to assist in ensuring that all designs permit the efficient and most cost effective manufacture and procurement of equipment, both stock and outwork
Assisting in ensuring that each project has a time-plan and machine estimate
Ensure that the machine system build is completed to set timescales and cost by ensuring that information is communicated on time
Assist in ensuring that the system is built using good working practices.
Ensure that the application meets with the demands of the customer specification and all relevant legislation
Assist Sales in completion of system acceptance trials.
Attend premises to assist in site surveys, installation, commissioning and training of customers.
Assist in quotation and proposal stage
When required assist with practical engineering, such as the manufacture of bespoke components necessary to meet the project requirements.
