Description
Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and installation of weighing and packaging solutions for the food industry sector, immediately due to internal promotion they require a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and installation of weighing and packaging solutions for the food industry sector, immediately due to internal promotion they require a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for system design, managing work packages, management of site-works and ensuring system performance and integration. Key responsibilities will be delivering systems within budget, on time and to specification, product and manage system CAD layouts (AutoCAD) during project lifecycle; selection of suitable suppliers, obtain quotations and make recommendations to Project Manager for bought out equipment or work packages, carry out designers Risk Assessment for the system design concept, ensuring design criteria complies with all applicable technical and statutory regs i.e. Machinery Directive) and management of site-works (CDM would be advantageous).
It is essential that you have a track record in a design or project engineering related role with experience of materials handling or packaging systems within the food industry.
Salary is negotiable £32-35k for a Project Engineer, £35-38k for a Project Manager + Car, 10% bonus etc. Project engineers get paid overtime, (project managers dont), good company pension scheme and life insurance, BUPA etc.
