PROJECT ENGINEER - PERFORMANCE SIMULATION
AUTOMOTIVE CONSULTANCY
SHOREHAM - WEST SUSSEX
Our client is a world leading provider of technology, product innovation, engineering solutions and strategic consulting to the worlds automotive industries with a network of technical centres in the UK, North America, Germany and the Czech Republic.
They are now looking for Project Engineers to provide lead performance simulation support to design, development and vehicle integration projects using a combination of experience, analysis tools.
On a day to day basis the role will operate with a significant level of autonomy and have responsibility for overall supervision of a team of engineers undertaking the performance simulation support on specified projects.
In addition to the above role, the candidate will be active in the following disciplines:
•Production of high quality innovative performance engineering solutions across a wide range of gasoline, diesel and gas engine applications.
•Having a high degree of expertise in 1D and 3D thermo-fluids analysis
•Have the ability to review results and direct recommendations for problem resolution to the expectation of the client.
•Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends, and new developments in order to apply the correct level of technology.
•Liase with clients and other organisations
•Preparation and maintenance of process documentation associated with the analysis
•Preparation of detailed technical client presentations for project engineering review.
•Preparation of marketing material to support business development activities
•Preparation and delivery of technical proposals to client organisations
Ideally you will be a Graduate Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineer who has been involved in supporting the design and development of engines. Experience of engine performance simulation and development across a range of engine applications is essential.

To meet demanding requirements, you should have had progressively increasing levels of responsibility and will currently hold a senior performance simulation position. In addition to this you will be a highly motivated self starter who is able to operate in a team environment, as well as able to communicate and make presentations with a high degree of clarity and technical competence.
