Working within an accountability framework, reporting to the Delivery Manager of the Nuclear sector, this role is for a project manager tasked with responsibility for delivering projects to cost, time and specification. On occasions, a reasonable amount of travel to customer sites is expected.
Prime responsibilities include:
•Managing Control Systems / IT projects in the Nuclear sector to demanding timescales
•Ensuring that projects are delivered to timescales, specification and budget
•Full financial responsibility for projects ranging from £100k to Millions in value
•People management responsibility for leading and motivating a team of software engineers (typically 5 to 10+)
•Hold regular report and progress meetings with clients
•Provide front line consultancy and facilitation to clients in the early stages of potential projects
•Assist in securing future business by cultivating customer expectations through excellent delivery
•Responsibility for Quality Control for all projects involved.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate full Project Management experience in delivering Software Engineering solutions with a track record of success, possess experience in Microsoft Project and have good customer facing skills and strong leadership skills.
In return my client offers a basic salary of c £45,000, Company Car Allowance, Bonus, company pension scheme and BUPA.
