Our client, a packaging machinery manufacturer requires a mechanical project / design engineer. Ideally experienced in AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks you will be expected to manage various mechanical projects and co-ordinate all activites with the electrical teams and clients.
Our client is a reputable packaging machinery manufacturer and solutions provider they operate worldwide and are well known for the reliability of their machines and their ability to provide bespoke design solutions.
Due to internal moves they now require an experienced mechanical projects / design engineer.
Working within their busy design office in Bristol the right candidate will possess excellent mechanical design skills using AutoCAD and 3D Solid works. In addition to functional design work the applicant will be expected to project manage various mechanical projects and co-ordinate all activities with the electrical teams and clients to provide accurate timescale and cost proposals.
A strong communicator is required to provide a voice of authority within client meetings and to offer technical support to other departments within the group.
Previous man management or team management experience will be essential and previous experience gained within the packaging machinery industry would be of significant interest.
