WANTED: qualified and experienced Engineers to work on a wide range of projects including highways and transport; carriageway and footpath maintenance; car park provision and parking related works; amenity and land drainage works.
This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer (Civil Engineering Highways) with Incorporated Engineer status (or aspirations of becoming incorporated) to join an excellent company in Bedfordshire.

Main duties include: Management of projects assigned; assist in the preparation of an annual programme and quarterly financial and performance reports for Civil Engineering projects; Assist in the management of the Highways Schedule of Rates Contract; Carry out surveys, site investigations, feasibility work, design and production of contract documentation and problem solving as well as preparing reports, estimates and CAD drawings.
You MUST have a good amount of relevant previous experience in Civil Engineering (Highways). Ideally you will be at an Incorporated Engineer status or potential to achieve this.
You MUST be suitably experienced in the design and maintenance aspects of highways engineering and be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge and experience of technical standards applicable to highways engineering.
Experience of preparing specifications, drawings (CAD), contract documents and cost estimates to a high standard is essential.
