The company has concluded that the UK will provide the main basis for further expansion and they are now in the process of setting up a new division in Crawley, West Sussex where they have vacancies for Project Engineers Balance of Plant.
As Project Engineer Balance of Plant you will be assisting the Project Manager in achieving the project goals (technical and commercial side, quality, deadlines). This will involve the preparation and coordination of project documentation for the project execution, as well as coordination of works in CAE system (Piping and Instrument Diagrams P&IDs). You will supervise and control the document flow in the project (internal and external); handle the procurement of the assigned systems (i.e. prepare the technical specification documents, negotiates the technical side with suppliers, supervises the processing, the OM etc.). You will identify deviations and risks and acts as agreed with the Project Manager. You will coordinate the super-ordinated plant processes of the entire plant and prepare the necessary documents (e.g. process diagrams, water and materials balance, interface list, plant operation concept, main interlocks list as well as the preparation of the Operating Manuals (OM) and works (risk analysis, PED) for the attainment of the EC conformity.

Successful candidates will be educated to HND/degree level or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline with sound experience of plant construction projects. Well organized and systematic in your thinking, you will also have sound knowledge and experience in British Engineering Standards. The capability to lead trade discussions with subcontractors is also necessary.
