Project Engineer Gear/Power Transmissions
c£35,000 + Large organisation benefits.

With an unrivalled position in the supply of engineered products and services, our client, part of an international group, commands a market leading position with an immediately identifiable brand identity.
Their Gears/Power transmissions business has enjoyed exceptional year-on-year growth and is strongly represented in the process engineering, chemical, environmental and general industrial sectors. Due to their fantastic success and development within the Gears/Power transmissions sector, the opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced and already successful project engineer to be based at their West Midlands headquarters.
Qualified in mechanical engineering, you will already have gained extensive experience developing engineered gears/Power transmissions solutions for industrial applications, including general industrial duties. Complementing your technical abilities, you will possess a high level of interpersonal skill, allowing you to present creditable engineered solutions both internally and externally with clients.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, this new position, reporting to the Regional Director, will see you responsible for working from initial sales enquiry, through site survey and technical equipment, full costing, feasibility and proposal phase right to equipment supply, installation and commissioning. Projects managed will be varied in complexity and value and will require a flexibility of design thought as well as a strong technical understanding and appreciation of associated civil construction parameters.
